Twilight

I read the books back when the third one came out.  Went and saw the first 2 movies when they were at the movies.  Reading all of the books again, starting Sunday night and now it is Thursday night and I am half way through with the last book.

First, the movies suck, they are BAD!  WOW, Edward is supposed to be a hunk, NOT and Jacob WOW he is HOT in the movie and don't even get me started on BELLA, that girl CANNOT act, I think that is my problem with the movies, Jacob and Edward grew on me, but BELLA OMG Stupid Girl!  So I though I would reread the books and what do you know, she is STUPID in the books.  Maybe it is because I am older now then when I first read them.  I would like to see Bella be a strong female or at least normal, I mean please I remember what it is like to be a teenager and yes girls can be that way, but she is such a pansy and I think a really bad role model for young girls.  Now, I realize it is just a story and if we want to really get into it, IT IS A MOVIE, who cares.  I guess it bothers me because I REALLY like the books, now I hate them almost, because of the movies.  Weird.  Still I would like someone to rewrite them with a different female character.  Jacobs character is great, Edwards could use some work, however if he is a vampire then he can be however. Bella is a human, act like one.  I hate being rough to the girl, but ouch!  I have heard the 3rd one is better, so I may go rent it when it comes out, ok I will rent it when it comes out!
