WOW! One more month and they will be a year old! Where did the time go? We have been extremely busy. Doug and his step-dad, Dale went to Menards and bought all of the duct work and tools we needed. My brother came down and helped Doug install all of the new duct work and cleaned out our trunk. We now have air, YES!!! We are waiting for the new furnace to come in, Doug is having a guy he works with install it. That will save us lots of money. I am not sure when we will get to the drywall in the garage, but that will have to be done soon, before the mold starts growing everywhere. We were able to save all of all lawn equipment. The only things we have left is the installation in the back porch. We will need to tear that out soon because of mold, not sure when we will replace that. We lost all of our landscaping mulch. I cannot believe all that money was washed away. However we are very thankful! There are 5-6 houses around us that will have to be torn down and probably 10+ that have had to remodel at least part of their house if not the entire thing. The town is also slowly rebuilding. Walgreens and Kmart reopened last week. Taco Bell & Burger King won't reopen until September they had to tear down the entire buildings. I am not sure when Kroger and the other stores that were damage will reopen. However GOOD Ole' Walmart is still standing and open LOL.
We are heading up to my Aunt's for the 4th of July we do this every year. The kids should have fun. However, no fireworks for them this year. We are also getting ready to go down to Florida. Yes we are still going. It will be nice to leave this mess behind for a few days. Doug's Aunt and Uncle live near Orlando and we are going to go see them. Should be an interesting trip with the twins, we are driving. Their first birthday is also coming soon. We were going to have a cook-out and invite everyone, but I think that might overwhelm the kids. So we are just going to invite a few people and have ice cream and cake. I will post pictures so everyone can see how their day went.
